Abstract
This paper establishes the relationship between fitness and law vis-à-vis
sports performance. The peaceful co-existence of members in a society is
fundamental, so also the laws governing them. This peaceful coexistence also
applies to the Sport society as it is essential in achieving optimal sport
performance because laws directly influences the behavior of every member
of its social niche but must be set on the obedience of the laid down laws,
rules& principles in other to function optimally. Our body is not left out of this
social make a society possesses, as it could be seen as one comprising
members whose unique application of law has visible effects on every cell,
tissue, organ and Organ-system that make up our body. The fitness laws and
principles guiding them must be adhered to for smooth body activities in
achieving good sport performance. Hence the bane of this paper is to
examine the roles fitness and laws plays in achieving excellent performance in
sports generally.
